1. What We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and basic profile information via our authentication provider (Clerk). When you use PlanLah, we store the financial data you enter — assets, liabilities, income, expenses, and goals — in our database hosted on Neon (PostgreSQL).
2. How We Use Your Data
Your financial data is used solely to power the features you interact with: snapshots, goal tracking, projections, and the decision engine. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the service.
3. Data Storage & Security
Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon with encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication is handled by Clerk, which manages session tokens and credentials separately from our infrastructure.
4. We Do Not Sell Your Data
We will never sell, rent, or share your personal or financial data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
5. Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. When you delete your account, all financial records are permanently removed via cascading deletion.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management only. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
